Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO隱形眼鏡回收

CooperVision香港已經對Avaira^TM 品牌隱形眼鏡產品系列，包括Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO隱形眼鏡作出全面回收。是次回收是由於 CooperVision 發現部份批次的Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO鏡片上存在一定含量的Silicone Oil（矽油），而這批鏡片並不符合我們的最新品質要求。

Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO隱形眼鏡上存在這種殘留物（矽油）可導致視力模糊或不適、眼部劇烈疼痛或需進行治療的眼部損傷，但並非每個人都會出現徵狀且徵狀都不盡相同。如果您在佩戴Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO鏡片後出現視力模糊或異常不適，請立即取下您的鏡片，並聯絡您的眼科專業人士。

雖然是次事件只有部份批次受影響，但為了保障消費者的最佳利益，CooperVision香港決定全面回收產品。任何擁有Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO隱形眼鏡的消費者應停止使用，並請將鏡片退還為 閣下驗配的眼科專業人士或眼鏡店。如有任何查詢，請致電CooperVision香港熱線3718 0688。

Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO Contact Lenses recall

CooperVision Hong Kong has initiated a total recall of the Avaira^TM brand product line to include Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO contact lenses. The recall was initiated because we identified certain lots of Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO lenses that did not meet its updated quality requirements due to the level of a silicone oil residue.

The presence of the residue (silicone oil) on Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO contact lenses may cause hazy vision or discomfort, severe eye pain or eye injuries requiring medical treatment. Not everyone experiences the same symptoms. If you experience hazy vision or unusual discomfort with your Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO lenses, please remove your lenses immediately and contact your eye care practitioner.

Though products being affected are limited to certain lots only, CooperVision Hong Kong has decided to recall not only the affected lots but all Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO contact lenses in the best interest of the consumers. Any consumers, who have Avaira^TM / BioComfort XO contact lenses, should discontinue wear and please return the products immediately to the point of purchase or to your eye care practitioner.
